Background: Given the parametric equations, we need to determine which refueler has the best flight path in order to refuel the Chinook that is flying back to base. Facts: The flight of each aircraft influences the problem. For the refuelers we were given the parametric equations for their flight paths. For the Chinook we had to determine the flight path by using the initial and final points and plug those into the equation of a line. Both of the refuelers are available to the Chinook for refueling. Assumptions: The Chinook has enough fuel to make it to the farthest of the refuelers. If we did not make this assumption the Chinook would have to go to the nearest refueler or they would have to make an emergency landing. Another assumption is that the refueler changes its flight path as it gets near enough to undergo refueling operations. This is a valid assumption because it takes time to refuel the Chinook and by the refueler and Chinook crossing flight paths, they would not be able to
