If so, tell me how. 3/31 “The Etruscans are among the most intriguing of ancient peoples, and ever since early Roman times scholars have argued about who they were, where they came from, and what language they spoke. Even today, despite the discoveries of modern archaeologists, we still know little about the origins of the Etruscans, and their language has yet to be deciphered. By 700 BCE they had established themselves in the part of Italy named for them, Tuscany, but it is not clear whether they arrived from abroad or whether their culture was a more developed form of an earlier Italian one.
