Week 5 DQ #1 Due Thursday, March 1 From your textbook and online articles, as well as online research, document the steps / process necessary to maintain and redesign sites in the professional environment. Describe the steps you have taken to maintain and redesign your site over the past several weeks. How is the process that you followed similar to or different from how sites are maintained and redesigned in the professional environment? Your response should be substantive in nature - a minimum 150 words, and it must include references from our textbook, any online articles, and online resources that help support your response. Read and respond to at least 2 of your classmates' posts during the week. These steps are: system integration (or investigation, feasibility study), system analysis (functional requirements), systems (systems specification), system implementation (operational system), and maintenance (improved systems). In the past several weeks the steps that I have taken to maintain or redesign my site are: first I thought about what I wanted on the website and drew out the layout of the site. Then I would design the website and check different web browsers to see if the website works on them. Last, I would update the website when it needs to be updated or fixed.
