What are the similarities and differences between procedures and objects? The similarities between procedures and objects are they both use algorithms to process the data, they will have access methods for data, they will both have functions or procedures to execute code, are both trying to accomplish a task, use functions/methods/procedures, use variables, and are high-level programming languages. The differences between procedures and objects are, procedures have more code whereas object oriented have less code, in procedures the main emphasis is on procedure while in objects the data is the important part plus the data is more secured, procedures fully concentrates on procedures/functions/methods, it normally works as a sequence of actions as seen in flowchart or in any algorithm, and objects concepts more about data, objects concepts is about data.
