Organizations associated with NETs, ASNs, ORGs, and POC records are responsible for the validity of their information. ARINs WHOIS displays results from text-based queries, sorted by record tape, in the following sequence: ORG records ordered by organizations name, POC records ordered by last name/role, first name, AS records ordered by organizations name, non-customer network records by organizations name and customer network records by organizations name. You can only determine the geographical location of a specific IP address if the organization provides that information to ARIN.
