TJ Malgieri History Of Jazz Vincent Martucci March 3 rd 2008 http://www.jazzreview.com/article/review-5860.html Jazz Review Paul Youngman attended a show in October of 2007. He attended this show in Canada where there were multiple drummers who preformed throughout the night. Paul sets the stage nicely in the opening of his article. He gives the readers a sense as if they were sitting next to him enjoying a nice drink. He sets the stage for the drummers. He explains how the drum sets look on stage and how the stage is set up for these musicians to come play. Paul is a very good writer who makes it very easy for his readers to get the feeling of what it’s like to be right in front of the action with him. He describes the first people to come on stage. He describes how magical all of the sounds merge together. He first says where the people are sitting on stage with snare drums and high hats. He then proceeds to discuss how the musicians work together to come up with great melodies and solid rhythms.
