Genre: Magic Realism Narrative and Tone: Third person Omniscient. (though it slowly decreases as doubt starts to set) Character(s): Pelayo, old man, Elisenda, Spider woman, Neighbor, Father Plot and Setting: An old man suddenly appears in Pelayo’s courtyard (barely an open space) and what’s more, he has large wings. Suddenly the old man brings health, money, and spectators; Elisenda and Pelayo are scum who don’t deserve such opulence because all they are doing is treating the old man like dirt. Motifs and Symbolism: Old man with wings – He has wings, which are a spectacle, but they are grim and unsightly. He is thought of as an angel but not because he is as frail as a human.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
