BUS 330 – Managing Diversity in the Workplace Model Organization Project – Establishing Criteria Your team should use a systematic model of diversity as a lens with which to assess “ success ” . By establishing such criteria, you can view your primary and secondary data through an objective lens. Several areas and potential questions (below) would usefully inform the creation of your criteria, and once linked to the key metrics of your industry, can be rewritten into interview questions specific to your organization: 1) Leadership – Is the CEO personally involved with the diversity management initiatives of the organization? Do the members of the board of directors reflect diversity? Is there an executive-level diversity position (i.e. vice president of diversity or chief diversity officer)? Has the organization created a diversity task force or diversity counsel? Is leadership financially committed to supporting diversity management initiatives long term? 2)
