Unformatted text preview: EE316 ULTIBOARD ASSIGNMENT Ground Rules for the Circuit Board Layout and Grading : 1.) All Printed Circuit Board Footprints are to be taken from the Standard Ultiboard Footprint Library , except for the one for PowerAmp (U2) and the one for Heat Sink (HS1). These two Footprints must be Custom Designed by the Student. You must get the Dimensions for the parts from the Part Datasheet. This is accomplished by entering the Digikey www.digikey.com URL or the Mouser www.mouser.com URL on the World-Wide-Web, and then, entering the Part Number into the Digikey or Mouser Search Line. Then, Mouse Click on Datasheet, and page to the end of the Datasheet where you will find the Physically Dimensioned Part Outline. Use this information to build a Custom Designed Footprint for both PowerAmp (U2) and Heat Sink (HS1) . The Part Number for each part is shown next to the part on the schematic. 2.) Make all Wiring Traces 0.02 Wide , except for the wiring traces connected to Pins 3, 4 & 5 of PowerAmp (U2), the wiring traces connected to Pins 1 & 2 of Capacitor (C6) and the wiring traces...
