Consider the choices of Native Americans who decide to stay on their tribe's native land or reservation, and those who choose to relocate to a city. If you were presented with this decision, which would you choose and why? First off Native Americans are very spiritual. The land they live on means a lot to them. Therefore, moving into the city means that they would have to leave this love and their beliefs of the land behind them. The children tend to leave the reservation and move to the city to become Americanized and gain the advantages of new opportunities. This decreases the chance of them learning their Native American traditions and passing them on to their children. However, there are many benefits to them leaving the reservation.

This would be a very hard decision for me to make because I have a great interest for the Native American traditions and I believe it is important to keep these traditions alive and ongoing in future generations. On the other hand, an education is imperative and extremely beneficial to one’s life and well-being. It would be great if they could offer the same education to them while they stay on the reservation, but since it don’t seem possible I would have to leave the reservation for a better, brighter, and knowledgeable future that will open the door for numerous opportunities....
