Pt.1. Click on the Toolwire ® Learnscape link on your student Web site for Week Three. After participating in the discussions about online and traditional education and pondering on your views and experiences, explain the importance of making distinctions when evaluating claims such as “Online schools are nothing more than diploma mills”. After viewing the Toolwire Learnscape I must say that I totally disagree with the opinions of the others that “Online schools are not nothing more than diploma mills.” You must do your research on anything related to online programs and or degrees. You must analyze all information and maybe even join some of the online discussion groups and forums where you can get a wide variety of others opinions about online degrees. Knowing how to make the distinctions between factual information given by credible and reliable sources and or educators/colleagues in the field of online degrees; you must be able to separate that from bias opinions made by your regular online article/blog writer. It is important to define the pros and cons for attending an online university. I can understand why some people may be hesitant and maybe even a non-believer of attending classes online because of all the online scamming going on stating that you can earn a degree in the medical field or whatever in less than a year and
