Do you think some personality types are naturally better at receiving criticism than others? What strategies can you use to be more receptive of criticism of your own ideas and solutions? Yes, I think that certain personality types are naturally better at receiving criticism than others. Some people automatically know how to step back and accept criticism for what it is; therefore allowing themselves to be open minded to others opinions while analyzing the criticism given. This enables an individual to acknowledge their own imperfections and make the appropriate changes for improvement. Although, these type of people may be receptive to criticism does not necessarily mean that they totally agree with all the criticism; they just know how to separate what applies to them and dismiss what does not apply.
