This periodical states, that the style of leadership over the last 25 years has changed and the companies that are employing diverse groups has the ability to compete with other businesses in the economy today. “Twenty five years ago, leaders didn’t have to worry much about satisfying the requirements of different groups of individuals, because a typical workforce did not contain so many different types of people.”(Deegan, David, 2009) The style of management now has provided a way to share the process of decision-making among employees and managers. Employees’ have changed their reason for working due to no longer wanting just a job anymore, but in search of an advancing career with a purpose and meaning, along with exceptional pay. I agree with this article and what was said about the style of management changing. Twenty-five years ago employees’ did not have a choice or options in the way they performed their job and management showed no consideration or interest in their
