Communication is an important key element to everyday living. It is mandatory to have an open line of communication and be able to communicate effectively with one another in the workplace. A workplace that is lacking communication is more likely to have individuals confused and misunderstanding things; this usually results in things going wrong creating unplanned obstacles and chaos among your workers. I am a contractor so it is imperative and mandatory that my clients and I communicate effectively with each other so that the job is done correctly and meets their needs and satisfaction. For instance, one of my clients (husband/wife) called me to repair a hole in the wall, but due to the damage it caused other areas around the hole to bubble up. I was unaware of the bubbles behind the paint due to this hole so when I arrived I spoke with the husband who showed me to the area that needed repairing. I asked him if he wanted me to smooth out the other areas that had bubbled for an extra fee,
