The supervisor’s primary objective should be to avoid making mistakes in employment decisions that can lead to EEO [Equal Employment Opportunity] complaints. I agree with this statement, it is imperative that supervisors are attentive and on point when making employment decisions in order to avoid EEO complaints. For example, if a supervisor is faced with an employee making acquisitions against another employee accusing them of sexual harassment if not handled appropriately could result in an EEO complaint. In a case such as this, the supervisor must always abide by company policy, make sure proper notation is made, enforce any actions of termination or a short-term probationary period regarding their employment until the problem is resolved, and make sure each and every necessary step is taken in order to eliminate any such actions of discrimination file against them.
