FROM: Anusha Iyengar, Expediter DATE: January 16, 2010 TO: Bill Korton, Distribution Manager SUBJECT: Examination of Damaged Lamps at Kimberley, January 11 I drove Kimberley on January 11 which is 370 Kilometers from our head office to examine an order of Scandinavian teak lamps that have been damaged during shipment. During my stay, I met the branch manager Cal Wozny, his assistant manager Connie Nieumeyer and Mansask Insurance Corporation’s insurance adjuster Penny Bernstein.

Unformatted text preview: It was observed that fifteen of the lamps were completely damaged and beyond repair, six were partly damaged but not worth repairing. Penny suggested reassembling the undamaged parts from those six lamps to form three complete lamps.
