Week 10 DiscussionCOLLAPSEOverall Rating:1234512345What are two approaches to address the negative consequences of climate change? Which do you think will be most effective? Why?Do you think the US is doing enough to combat climate change? Why or why not?Reply Quote6 days agoAbraham Sanoe RE: Week 10 DiscussionCOLLAPSEOverall Rating:1234512345According to the text, climate change refers to a change in the average condition/temperature or the natural variability in the global climate as a result of human activity as scientists argue the activity and the amount that is caused by humans. Human influence likely has a dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid 20th century. The burning fuel to power factories and buses is changing the natural greenhouse, which causes the atmosphere to trap more heat leading to a warmer earth. The two approaches to address the negative consequences of climate change are mitigation and adaptation. Mitigation is to reduce future emissions of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, and adaptation is building the capacity to avoid and recover from climate change impacts. I think the most effective will be the adaptation because it involves adjusting to the actual future climate, such as regulation, to decrease vulnerability.

During March until aboutJune the emissions in the air were below normal due to fewer cars on the road and buildings needing to be heated or cooled off. We definitely as a country need to do more when it comes to climate change
but as long as the current administration does not want to recognize that climate change is real it will be up to the citizens of this country to make real change and find solutions to climate change.Reply Quote Email AuthorHide 1 reply5 days agoTIMOTHY SMITH INSTRUCTOR MANAGERRE: Week 10 DiscussionCOLLAPSEOverall Rating:1234512345Deatrice...Reply Quote Email Author5 days agoAbraham Sanoe RE: Week 10 DiscussionCOLLAPSEOverall Rating:1234512345America under the current administration had downplayed the importance of climate change which is more dangerous to the future. The Trump administration has aggressively scaled back the Obama era regulation and abandoned the nation's role as a global leader in pushing for climate change.

That is one of the main thing that is harming the climate the most. It's unfortunate and sad that there aren't more concern for the climate. The climate protects us all from more than people realize. I really enjoyed your post and appreciate your take.
