Read “Practicing Servant-Leadership” by Larry Spears http://www.leadertoleader.org/knowledgecenter/journal.aspx?ArticleID=51 . Discuss two of the following statements. a. Name five “soft” and four “hard” influence tactics, and summarize Cialdini’s Principles of Influence and Persuasion. b. Identify and briefly describe French and Raven’s Five Bases of Power, describe the term empowerment , and explain how to make it succeed.(330, 449) c. Define organizational politics, explain what triggers it, and specify the Three Levels of Political Action in Organizations. d. Distinguish between favorable and unfavorable impression management tactics(338-339). Respond to at least two of your fellow students' responses.
