EXPERIENCING WORK 2 Experiencing Work There are several definitions of work. Along with the varying definitions leads to the varying degree of how people respond to work. Throughout growing up, I experiencing a very serious work ethic from my grandparents and parents. To them work was essential as breathing is to living. There was work time and family time. There was no cross over with the worktime and family time. I remember growing up both of my parents worked full time jobs. Once they came home from their jobs they were all about time with family and us children. My grandparents as well had a very strong work ethic as well. I remember sitting listening to stories of them growing up explaining what jobs they did and what they enjoyed about their jobs. They never once complained about having to go to work and providing for their family. It was not because they had to or they felt they needed to work all the time it was that just what was supposed to be done.
