Tim May Professional Selling Journal #6 12/7/11 Product: Myself Buyer: One 2nd Buyer (Interviewer) for a “Marketing Consulting Firm” Usually, when I go into an interview I'm very relaxed and personable; Concentrating more on getting to know and relating to my interviewer on a personal level. For the sake of “playing” I'm going to approach this from a HEMPS standpoint and focus on a memorized presentation style (3S-p47-7-B-1), because of the simple fact that the structure will help me to be confident and at the end really drive the point home that I'm worth more than what they are offering. Though, I would also make sure to be ready and mentally prepared for questions, business discussion and small talk. In the memorized portion of my interview I would use the AIDCA process (3S- p47-7-C-4) hoping that it will help to facilitate the 2B's extensive buying decision (3S- p40-5-a). My “A” statement would sound something like, “Well, you know, I graduated from YSU with a degree in Marketing.” I would explain how I graduated promptly and with a high GPA, and more importantly, through YSU, I was able to get some work
