IN BASKET 2 In Basket This assignment featured situations which were subjective in regards to the delegation and operational differences of a supervisory position. The decisions, methods, and techniques of supervisory leadership are viewed in different priorities by the class and this discussion exemplifies the difference of opinions. Supervision and Leadership is often misunderstood and the premise can become skewed if logic and common sense and the ability to work smart are not adhered to. The following differences of opinions and methods are shown in the following debate and discussions of the group which studied. We shall examine the variations and the applications of the assignment deciding which of the issues should be delegated or acted upon in the following. This is my view on each topic. 1. Two applications for jobs (no positions open right now). Delegated. I feel an assistant could handle this job. Then when a position is available the supervisor will have candidates already interviewed for an open position. 2.
