The town I currently live in is Hamilton, Ohio. This is a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio. An environmental issue that affects our community is air pollution. Smog is a major issue. Smog is air pollution that is a result of the interaction of sunlight with chemicals in the atmosphere. The two primary pollutants in smog are ground-level ozone (O3) and particulate matter (PM). Particulate matter pollutants have a variety of sources, including automobiles, large factories such as the utility company, gas stations, print shops, paints and cleaners used by consumers, airplanes, construction equipment, and trains. Ozone is naturally found in the Earth’s upper atmosphere and shields the Earth

I think this environmental issue is related to human values and environmental ethics. I feel that all consumers can be more caution of products they buy and how much they drive their car. If everyone did their part are environment would be safer for the society. Factories and their owners should try to protect our environment. There are factories on the Ohio River that dump pollutants into our waters every day....
