Alan Lewis MMBA6501-5 Week 1 Discussion Assignment - Graduate Work and Becoming a Better Manager Dr. Richard Bush: First let me address the two MBA program outcomes that I think can most help me to improve both personally and as a manager. 1. A varied and extensive knowledge-base of theory, skills, practices, and research from a worldly, pragmatic context. The artifacts will be constructed through sound reasoning to examine, analyze, and debate case studies, vignettes, or problem sets that represent the features of a global economy. Evidence will demonstrate that valid principles have been integrated, synthesized, and applied to challenges in the arena of leadership, management, and organizational change. This outcome almost speaks for itself, but let me elaborate. The above objective is directly applicable to a real-life work environment both in team leading and team participant situations. Ultimately as a manager the goal is not to be myopic in your approach to any particular situation,
