Alan Lewis MMBA6501-5 Week 2 Discussion Assignment Dr. Richard Bush: My schedule for this course Logins-- 7 days a week 3 times a day as follows for on average 1.5 hours per day: 1. Morning to check status of discussions, assignments and postings and post anything of interest. 2. Afternoon to follow up on and respond to any responses to postings or discussion items of note 3. Evening to check status of discussions, assignments and postings and make note of and discussion points of interest to which to respond in the morning. The above schedule allows me to dedicate roughly 10 hours per week to working on my assignments. I currently plan my days by starting each with 10 minutes of planning. Planning, for me, consists merely of creating a “to do” list, a call back list, updating my calendar and creating a list of all the things for the receipt of which I am still waiting. I am usually not able to accomplish everything on my list, however, I try to highlight the items that must be accomplished by a specific deadline and I do usually make those deadlines. I am decent at managing my time because of my level of organization; I am poor at managing my time because I do not deal well with managing interruptions, which is a suggested area from the
