CIS 127 Monday, 5/10/2010 Assignment Turn in T13 Tutorial – KEY will be posted later today – Today’s assignment – Outline of the Recovery Console feature Using selected pages in T9, T13, and the appropriate KB, open a blank Word document, and create an outline/summary that provides the following info and/or answers questions about XP’s Recovery Console: (Place your name in the header). Complete as much of the assignment as you can during class time (without changing drives); turn in a printout of your work; complete the assignment as homework and bring it to the Final exam. (Reminder: you are NOT expected to run Recover Console in the classroom – simply ‘read’ about it in T9 and T13) 1) Purpose of Recover Console (RC) This feature enables users to get to a mode that allows them to recover, change,  or fix files or settings that may be causing their computer not to boot properly. 2) What should be tried first?
