5 Basic Clicker Instructions 1. Registering Clicker – Each student must register his/her clicker. Carefully follow these instructions: Go to the http://student.turningtechnologies.com/ . Enter your clicker device ID number (found on the back of your clicker), Enter your first name and last name in the appropriate fields, In the "Other Field", please provide your unity ID , Complete the security entry, Press “Next”, Enter your instructor’s email address ( see syllabus ) , Select your class section (Acc 200-002 Thomas) and add it to the list on the right, Click “Next” and confirm that your information is correct. If it is correct, click on “Complete Registration”. You may click “Back” if you find information you need to correct. Note: After your registration is completed, you will need to re-register your clicker if any of the information is not correct. 2. Set Channel – Each classroom has its own unique channel. Your instructor will let you know the channel for your classroom. Press the MENU button until you see the main screen, (Note: If you see a message that says “Leave Presentation Mode? (Y/N)”, click on the YES button.) Use the down arrow key to select the “Change Channel” menu item, Press the ENTER button to change the channel, You should see the current channel. If the current channel is correct, simply press the ENTER button. If the channel needs to be changed, press the number for the new channel and then press the ENTER button,

6 The screen will briefly indicate whether or not the receiver was found. If it was not found, repeat the above process. 3. Answering Questions – Questions are delivered through a PowerPoint slide. The “Polling Open” message (top right hand side of the slide in green letters) must be shown in order for the receiver to accept your clicker response. Some of the questions slides may also have a timer countdown indicator button which will indicate how much time is left to answer the question before polling is closed.
