Church Disciplinary Councils provide a  way for the citizens of God’s kingdom to  repent from the most serious of sins. Section 103 Redemption of Zion/Zion’s Camp February 1834—Response to  expulsion from Jackson County,  Missouri; Lyman Wight and Parley  P. Pratt just arrived in Kirtland to  report on conditions in Missouri. Zion was not redeemed at that time because  of the failure of saints to render prompt and  complete obedience to the Lord’s  instruction. Section 104 Stewardship/Order of the Church for  the Salvation of Men April 1834—During a period of  financial distress for the Church and  difficulty with the United Order this  revelation was received. The Lord has organized this earth; it  belongs to Him; He has provided adequate  resources for all of His children provided  those resources are utilized in accordance  with His revealed directions to His  prophets. Section 105 Zion’s Camp/Zion Not to be  Redeemed for a Little Season June 1834—Fishing River—This  revelation was received at the end of  the march of Zion’s Camp. The efforts and journeys of Zion’s Camp  did not result in the redemption of Zion. Section 106 Warren Cowdery/ Compensation for  Full-Time Calling/Children of Light November 1834—Joseph prepares  for the School of the Elders as  missionaries return from their  assignments. Those that devote full-time service in the  kingdom are compensated for their labors.

Reference Possible Title Historic Background Specific Doctrines Section 107 Priesthood Quorums/Priesthood and  Church Government March 1835—Twelve apostles had  been called by the three witnesses in  February, and they desired a  revelation prior to leaving for  missions in the Eastern states. In all dispensations the Lord has directed  His work through authorized priesthood  holders. This pattern continues today./  Within the Church of Jesus Christ there is a  head. All priesthood holders and members  of the Lord's church are subject to and  function under the Presidency of the High  Priesthood (First Presidency)./ There are  quorums of priesthood, presiding  priesthood officers, and specific duties and  callings pertaining to these officers and  quorums within the priesthood  organization./ All priesthood holders are  expected to exercise their priesthood for  righteous purposes. Each man is to learn his  duty and act accordingly.
