REL C 325 D OCTRINE  & C OVENANTS L ESSON  P LAN Class Period #19  Seek First the Kingdom of God Class Concepts 1. As the Saints seek first to build the kingdom of God, they become a standard to all nations. 2. The official name of the Church is revealed as The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 3. Tithing is a standing law unto the Saints forever; Council for the disposition of tithes is established by  revelation.  Class Objectives Grow in faith and testimony regarding the prophetic calling of Joseph Smith and the veracity of the  restoration of Christ’s church to the earth. Develop an advanced and rigorous understanding of the history, doctrines, and covenants of Doctrine  and Covenants 115, 117, 119 and 120. Apply understanding of the content and teachings of the Doctrine and Covenants to problem solving  and life application Class Outline I.
