lecture 7 23:48 Continuity and Narrative- Lecture 07 Purpose- to present story action with a clear sense of space and time Guidelines- style should be unobtrusive to place our attention on the narrative rather  than the craft Axis of action and 180 degree space 20% rule reverses (shot reverse shot) continuity of content, position, movement, and time continuity is founded on a few tenets progression- the style and the narrative are designed to keep things moving clarity- things are easy to process, audience can process narrative as it goes on unity- elements are interconnected and usually implies there is some sort of systematic  planning between stylistic devices unobtrusive style Mobile framing has the potential to be highly obtrusive Motivations Reframing- when a character shifts position in the frame and you have to reframe to  maintain composition
