Haley Arenson History 313 Secondary Bibliography Roman law in the later Roman Empire: the Isaurian period, eighth century, the Ecloga by Edwin Hanson Freshfield This secondary source is a book. It is 78 pages long and will help me with my paper by providing information on the Ecloga itself. This source will not help me with the history leading up to the Ecloga and or the effects of the new laws that were created. I think this book will help me get a better understanding of the pattern of laws that Leo III created. Currently, this book is being sent to the UW-Madison campus so unfortunately I am not certain whether or not the book will be heavily biased but based off the reviews, this book will be informative with little, to no, opinions of the author.
