The company got many awards and high rankings of best place to work with from the magazine Fortune. The company is so successful because of its unique organizational culture and management strategies. The CEO of Gore Carroll said: "We work hard at maximizing individual potential, maintaining an emphasis on product integrity, and cultivating an environment where creativity can flourish," as their key value and beliefs of the company. Bill Gore referred to the company's structure as a "lattice organization." The social culture in their firm is pretty free. Instead of a pyramid of bosses and managers, Gore has a flat organizational structure. They have no assigned authority. They called "bosses" as "sponsors" and "employees" as "associates."
