NM 14-3, 14 AWG THHN Switches, 2-SPST, two 3-way Light fixtures 1 incandescent Duplex outlets 3 duplex, one is GFCI Circuit Breaker two 15 amp 120 V Procedures and Methods: 1. Bend a piece of ½” conduit 2. Build one 20 amp circuit with 2 GFCI protected duplex outlets, figure 1, and one non GFCI duplex outlet 3. Construct one 15 amp interior lighting circuit with an incandescent fixture a. All controlled with either of the 3 switches at the supply end of the circuit

Plug in board and ensure that it is working properly Figure 1 GFCI installed in a wall Lab 6 – Basic Wiring BRAE 216 Fall 2011 S F Kelly 2 CalPoly BRAE Discussion: In this lab, we actually got the opportunity to assemble the wiring on the framing of a house. It was difficult to get all of our team members to work together efficiently, but once we figured it out it worked. It was very interesting to view how the GFCI outlets worked and how they are wired in a house. Also, having the visual picture of how such things are wired will help our class in understanding how the circuits work. Overall, this lab was a great visual exercise and experience that will help in fully knowing the material....
