Introduction: Matt didn’t do work in college, he blew off his his finals until the very last minute, his friend with a serious, very common disorder called attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) offered matt some of his Ritalin to help him focus on studying. Matt stayed up for 2 full days, studying and retaining the information. When he got to the test, he filled 3 bluebooks worth of information. He failed and when he looked back at his test, he had filled 3 bluebooks with scribbles. Matt had pushed his brain past its limit and it was moving faster than his hand. This is one example of why unprescribed drugs are just as harmful as a “street drug” 1 ST SLIDE: ADD, ADHD, Adderall, Ritalin all feel like common words to the average college student. 2 ND SLIDE: College is a new experience and the students on college campuses are willing to try new things. College is stressful, overwhelming, and it’s hard to find a balance between work and play. A lot of students find it hard to focus on one task at hand when there are hundred different other, probably more fun things to do. This is when college students resort to the use and abuse of stimulant drugs
