drugs, and things of that nature. There is, however, a new addiction that is rapidly spreading worldwide. During the past few years, online social networks have become one of the world’s leading addictions. It is hard for many students to go a day or two without checking their Facebook or MySpace accounts. It is even harder to find a student that does not have a single type of network account. From MySpace to Facebook, and now the up and coming Twitter, it is hard to not find one that suits you. These social networks have changed the way we communicate with one another, and have greatly influenced our generation. It has become something greater than just a habit; it has become an addiction and main part of people’s every day life. Many people do not believe that these online networks are addicting.
