Shermak – COM 102 Setting Up Your Personal COM 102 Blog In COM 102, we will be studying technology and digital media as “text”. In accordance with this, we will being using technology. It is absolutely critical that you follow these steps carefully to ensure that you setup your blog correctly. Setting Up Your Blog 1) Open a Web browser (i.e. Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.) 2) Navigate to: www.wordpress.com 3) In the upper gray bar, click on the “Sign Up” link. 4) On the following screen, you need to enter information in the following fields: a. Blog Address : In this field, you should write your MVCC username, which is your Blackboard username or the first half of your email address. This means that the web address for your blog will be yourusername.wordpress.com . This is very important! If you do not know this, go to my.morainevalley.edu to find it. This is how I will find and grade your blog.
