The importance of market surveys is immeasurable (Unescobkk.org, N.d.). For the basis of discovering the best way to market WaterSense Orthopedic shoes, a survey was conducted via www.surveymonkey.com . The following information is a compilation of the data collected from these surveys. The question was asked ‘How much money do you usually spend on a comfortable pair of shoes’ and the results were slightly lower than expected which could possibly create some problems with the pricing within the marketing plan. The target price is $99 where as the survey shows that 40% of the survey group spends $31-$50 on a comfortable pair of shoes while the market for comfortable shoes in the target price range is slightly lower at 33.3%. It is clear after evaluating the data compiled from the survey that both price and style are important while surprisingly there was a small elevation in the importance of style. Out of the 15
