352A Barton Run Blvd Marlton, NJ 08053 January 7, 2012 Lorrie Pannullo Thomas Edison State College 101 W. State St Trenton, NJ 08608-117 Dear Lorrie Pannullo , My name is Alex Swenda and it is my intention to display my personality in order for you to better nurture my growth as a writer. I trust in your ability to fully assess my profile and I am confident that I will become a better person from this experience. The technical writing course I currently attend is a requirement for my Technical Studies degree. I chose this course because I lack the clear and concise style of writing which has eluded my creative writing history. My background stems from my hobby of writing fictional short stories concerning science fiction and mythology. I attended the prerequisite English courses at Rutgers University and found interest with creative writing classes.

I understand that practice makes perfect and I thank you knowing that I will be able to transfer my skillset into technical writing from your guidance. Sincerely, Alex Swenda...
