Cyclic Scheduling (10 points)
Consider the two worker cell from the appendix to the cyclic scheduling lecture.
The part flow is as follows: C03, D02, K40, G58, F10, J22, N78. That is, a part
only visits one machine in those groups that consist of two machines (the K40’s, G58’s,
or F10’s). Using CGANTT, I have created an operation routine chart for this cell (next
page). The vertical time slices are 6 minutes apart. You should be able to read off start
and stop times to the nearest minute from this.
Operator 1 (in yellow) visits C03, D02, J22, N78, C03, D02, N78, and then
returns to C03 and repeats the pattern. Every time the operator visits station C03, he or
she is inserting a new part into the cell. Every time he or she visits cell N78, a part
