In my experience at Cooper, I have had many people touch my life in various ways. However, Mr. Cameron White has been my biggest influence. By taking his veterinary science class, my desire to be a veterinarian was sparked. He introduced me to the veterinarian world and connected me to a profession that goes hand-in-hand with my passion for animals. Through taking this class, I have been introduced to what it means to be a veterinarian, and what veterinarians do, like clinical exams and what they entail. I even got to have hands-on experience performing a clinical exam on a dog and bandaging a wound on a dog’s leg using the proper techniques. This class has given me a good overview so that I can succeed in college and

Without Mr. White and his veterinary science class, I would have never thought to become a veterinarian and do a job that I have a passion for.
