Brian Brinson Graphics IDIS 3290 2/9/12 The graphics I have chosen to review are used in the owner’s manual for a Tohatsu outboard boat motor. The graphic are used to show the correct angle of trim for the boat motor, see figure 1 cut from this manual. These graphics are pictographs and in my opinion do a good job of illustrating the proper and improper trim levels as well as what to do to fix it. If I was going to suggest improvement it would be to show a detail of the motor off to the side and how to adjust the trim on the same page.
