Autonomous Vehicle Project Memorandum January 22, 2012 To: Professor Tony Cahill ENGR 112 – Track A Professor From: Group # 7 Spencer Montgomery Milena Stefanovic Will Taylor Jonathan Chiou Subject: Team Homework # 1 Summary The purpose of this project is to design and build a lego car that can autonomously maneuver through an obstacle course and pick up a coke can. Method and Procedure Our car designs contain different design techniques in order to account for the series of obstacles that will be encountered during the final run. Design number one (see Design # 1) includes wide, tall, and treaded tires in order to provide the car with clearance from the ground. Design

The picture drawn below shows our basic design for the connection between the wheels and the frame of the car.
