Unformatted text preview: Homework 1 By Yuan Zhou EECT 7329 Advanced Analog IC Design Homework 1 Yuan Zhou Step 1. Design a fully differential amplifier First, let’s design a simple five-transistor fully differential amplifier. Fig. 1 shows a example design. The transistor sizes are presented in Tab. 1. The overdrive voltages of transistors are designed to be 100 ∼ 200mV, as shown in Tab. 2. Design three different CMFB circuits I. Continuous-time replica amplifier CMFB Fig. 2 shows an example design. Two resistors sensing output common-mode voltage are chosen to be 10 M Ω . The transistor sizes of the replica amplifier are presented in Tab. 3. 1 Homework 1 By Yuan Zhou Figure 2: A replica amplifier CMFB circuit ocm Table 3: Transistor sizes of the replica amplifier M8/M9 M10/M11 M7 350 μ m/0.25 μ m 75 μ m/0.25 μ m 2 × 350 μ m/0.25m/0....
