In Relation to Our Lives Response In the modern world it is common to see everyone blame one another. In relation to Colin Powell’s “Its Not My Fault” passage, Powell shows that as human beings we find it easier to blame someone else when in fact we are at fault for our actions. Powell makes reference to many minority groups that find it easy to blame their suffering on other minority groups. Powell reveals to me that Americans have become very reliant on other people to accomplish their goals and no body wants to work hard to achieve what they want. Though Power reveals the dark side of human nature, he also shines a power light on a topic that relates to me in the greatest way. Power talks about being proud of one’s race and skin color, he also believes that one should embrace their racial profile. In my life I have always been looked at different for being my race and achieving the things I have as a scholar. Many people aren’t comfortable with the fact that a
