Mutiple choice questions will be on this? *Liverowrts live predominantly in the gametophyte generation. Whatever apply to mosses (bryophytes applies to the liverworts) *The last stage of the sporophyte generation is/are sporocytes. Review the cycles of sporophyte and gemtophyte generations for all the different plant cycles. Germinating Seed – Embryo (2n, Endosperm (3n), Seed Coat (2n) Alternation fo Generations (evolutionary perspective) ------ In the Alternaiton of Generations slide, the slide depicts the amount of time Algae, Mosses, ferns, and Seed Plants in the haploid and diploid generations. Algae is always in the haploid generation. Mosses are mostly in the diploid generation. Ferns have a tiny amount in the haploid and a very large amount in the diploid generation. * When you eat a fruit you bite into a seed.
