The balanced scorecard and the previous papers that included the mission, vision, values, and SWOTT analysis helped Express Tax Service determine the objectives and measurements including the initiatives and the target. The tax preparation industry has tremendous growth opportunities for a new firm looking that cares about that the community and meets their needs. This paper will analyze and discuss Express Taxes vision, mission, values, and SWOTT analysis. According to investopedia.com, a balance scorecard is defined as “a performance metric used in strategic management to identify and improve various internal functions and their resulting external outcomes. The balance scorecard attempts to measure and provide feedback to organizations in order to assist in implementing strategies and objectives.” This management technique isolates four separate areas that if analyzed properly can help a business grow: “(1) learning and growth, (2) business processes, (3) customers, and (4) finance. Data collection is crucial to providing quantitative results, which are interpreted by managers and executives and used to make better long-term decisions” (Balanced scorecard, n.d.). Financial
