PERSONAL WORLDVIEW & BUSINESS ETHICS 2 STEP 1 To what extent should personal religious beliefs impact our decisions about business ethics In life every decision should be impacted by personal religious beliefs. Christians should always consult God when making any decisions in business. Proverbs 3:5 -7 says Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths” (NKJV). In all that we do we must trust God in making decisions about business ethics. To what extent do your personal religious (or non-religious) beliefs about life impact your sense of business ethics and personal decision-making? My personal religious beliefs impact both my personal and business ethics decision making. In working in the corporate word I am faced with business ethics decisions often and God has to be my guide. My desire is to make the right decisions on my job because they not only affect me they affect others. In my personal like my religious beliefs help me to make decisions through praying and seeking God for direction. Does it seem odd to connect every belief we have about life back to what we believe about God? No, it does not seem odd to me to connect every belief we have about life back to God. When your life is focused around God you must connect your beliefs to God and his work. Article 1- “What is a worldview and why is it important to me?” Has your answers to either of the first two questions changed after reading article 1? After reading article 1, my mind has not changed.
