Political Communication Assignment According to George Washington University, political communication is “the study of the flow of information through political processes: the study of who knows what, when, where and how; and how people use their information to further political goals.” In an election year we have a great opportunity to have a look at how candidates disseminate information and how this information is used by the voting public. Get into groups of 4 or 5 Choose an issue Have each individual in the group look at one ad regarding the political issue you chose; no two people can look at the same ad. •Get together and talk about what you learned. •Submit a one page, double spaced, 12 font paper telling us what you learned about use of media for this political issue and why you think the campaign surrounding the issue you chose will succeed or fail and how the media could be more effectively utilized.
