Unformatted text preview: Freedom of religion has become a controversial issue in our nation. In your opinion, what does freedom of religion or freedom of religious expression mean? How have you observed religion being expressed and/or censored in your own community? In my opinion, freedom of religion means that it is okay for me or someone else to express our religious beliefs and worship how we see fit. It also means that for those not interested in practicing or following any religion, they have the freedom to not do so. I do not think that freedom of religion means that it is okay for anyone to impose their beliefs on others. I also do not think that freedom of religion means that a person can belittle or mistreat someone who either has different views from their own or practices a different religion entirely. As a Christian, I am happy to share my faith and beliefs; I certainly do not expect anyone to agree with my views or interpretations. In fact, it could start a discussion and lead to a healthy debate, which is views or interpretations....
