1 MOHAWK COLLEGE OF APPLIED ARTS AND TECHNOLOGY COURSE CODE - EE148 COURSE OUTLINE COURSE NAME - Electricity Lab- Fennell Campus Delivery COURSE CODE - EE148 PROGRAM NAME - Two-Year Technician / Three-Year Technologist DURATION - Total Hrs.: 52 ; Total Wks.: 13 ; Hrs./Wk.:4 DEPARTMENT - Electrotechnology FACULTY - Engineering and Health Technology PREREQUISITE COURSES - In order to continue to the next semester, all previous courses must be completed with no more than one outstanding failure. GENERAL COURSE OBJECTIVE(S) - This lab course is a basic component of both the Two Year and Three Year electrotechnology programs. It complements the work of the Electricity lecture course EE147, however, it can be taken independently provided that the pre-laboratory work for each experiment is performed. This lab course covers resistive circuits, inductance, capacitance and A.C. circuits. Students will learn to use ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, signal generators and oscilloscopes, they will also become familiar with electronic components and their application.
