Active Citizenship 10034, Winter 2010 Group Presentation Topic Research Assignment  Purpose: In this assignment, your group tackles a topic of local, national, or global interest. All group presentations include the following: a.) a group of 4 maximum b.) a question pre-approved by the professor c.) a PowerPoint presentation d.) participation of all team members on presentation day e.) a time limit of 10 minutes minimum and 15 minutes maximum f.) a hard copy of the slides (hand-out form), 3 slides to a page Step One : Decide on a general area of interest from the following five themes: Socio-Economic Environmental Cultural Political/Legal Technological Step Two : Define the question and get it approved by the professor.
